History
For over 30 years, New Horizons has thrived inside the double doors of St. John United Methodist Church.  As part of St. John, New Horizons serves families of the church as well as families throughout the community.  We celebrate Christian holidays; however, our doors are always
open to families of all beliefs.

The New Horizons Staff is committed to providing the very best in developmental education for young children.

Advisory Council
The New Horizons Parent Advisory Council serves as a liaison between NHPS and St. John UMC and Preschool Communities.  The Council assists with fund-raising activities and meets a minimum of four times each year.

The New Horizons staff members are active in the National Association for the Education of Young Children and all are experienced early childhood educators.  Our teachers have varied and extensive backgrounds including special education, physical education, science and creative dramatics.  The staff participates in continuing education programs to remain alert to the ever-changing needs of today's families.
