In our Penguin class we develop kindergarten readiness skills
without rushing the child.  The Penguin class was designed
for "older" four-year-olds as well as young 5's.  

Educational Objectives

In addition to the objectives listed for the Duckling, Teddy Bear and Rainbow Classes, some of the educational objectives for the Penguin class are:

• Work independently at centers.
• More practice with sequence and patterning activities.
• Continued development of fine motor skills.
• Expanded work with numbers and math concepts.
• Field trip opportunities.
